PGJCCR Summer Research Programme 2025

I just wanted to let you know that applications for the Patrick G Johnston Centre for Cancer Research (PGJCCR) Summer Research Programme are now open.

This gives undergraduate students a chance to immerse themselves in a comprehensive laboratory-based project, create a concise report and a captivating poster presentation. Students will also have access to inspiring lectures and seminars led by international scientific leaders and a career day. There is also a stipend of £200 per week.

We offer projects in the following areas:

Cancer Biology
Bioinformatics
Molecular Pathology
Cancer Epidemiology
Stratified Medicine
Radiobiology
Medicinal Chemistry
Breast / Ovarian Cancers
Brain Cancers
Prostate Cancers
Blood Cancers (Leukaemia / Lymphoma / Myeloma)
Gastro-Intestinal Cancers
