Dear Students,

Currently your Peer Mentor Co-Ordinator's are collating information relating to students who have completed all the agreed Future Ready Award Single Route requirements for Peer Mentoring.

Please contact your Peer Mentor Co-Ordinator if you have completed the tasks and hours of engagement required for a single route requirement for Peer Mentoring.

As a reminder this requires students to undertake 30+ hours of engagement and complete all of the below tasks and the minimum hours of engagement required:

~ Application/Selection (Minimum 1 hour)
~ Peer Mentor Training with LDS (Minimum 3 hours)
~ Contact with student peers at Welcome Week and in local student meetings and events (Minimum 24 hours)
~ Completion of a Reflective Report of 500-700 words on their experience of peer mentoring (or a formal reflective talk/presentation to those who are
considering becoming peers as part of a School event) (Minimum 2 hours)

Students who do not meet the above requirements but have completed 10+ hours of engagement can still use Peer Mentoring with one other activity to make a Combined Route application for the award. The Combined Route application is the responsibility of the student and you will require an e-mail from your Peer Mentor Co-Ordinator confirming the number of hours of engagement with Peer Mentoring. Students should include this in their application as evidence.
