Medical student survey

Post by lbrabon »

Hello,

My name is Maya, and I am a fourth-year medical student studying at Kent and Medway Medical School (KMMS).

I am currently undertaking a research project exploring the impact of creative, humanities and arts-based activities on the personal and professional development of UK medical students. This project has full ethical approval obtained via ELAG and the KMMS ethics committee.

I am actively looking for medical students currently enrolled in a UK medical school, on either undergraduate or graduate entry courses, to participate in this study. Participation involves the completion of an online questionnaire, establishing students' views surrounding the impact of the arts and humanities upon medical education. A comprehensive participant information sheet and consent form are included at the start of the questionnaire, alongside my contact details in case students have any further queries.

Please could you distribute to the medical students at your university the attached poster linking the questionnaire, either via your newsletters or message boards, as a higher number of responses will significantly improve the reliability of the research.

Suggested wording for this advertisement is as follows: "Please do consider taking part in this interesting study looking at the role of humanities and other creative activities within undergraduate medical education. Click on the link below to find out more. https://forms.office.com/e/AnSnGsZxqh"

Please do include the link alongside the visual advertisement, in case there are any issues selecting the QR code within the image.

Please let me know if you have any questions, I am more than happy to provide more information if needed.

Best,
Maya Pirie
