Understanding the Experiences of Young Male Students in Higher Education with Caregiving Responsibilities

Are you a male student who provides care to someone while studying full time at university? We want to hear from you!

Many students studying in university also have caring responsibilities. Caring can impact on their engagement, retention and success in Higher Education. However, very little is known about young male students’ experience of balancing education and caregiving responsibilities. The findings from the study may help inform how caregiving students can be better supported in higher education.

Maggie Bennett is a Doctoral Student in the School of Social Sciences, Education and Social Work in Queen’s University Belfast. Maggie is seeking contributions from male students who provide care to someone while studying full time in university for her study titled: Understanding the Experiences of Young Male Students in Higher Education with Caregiving Responsibilities.
