Dear student,

Do you have caregiving responsibilities? Are you trying to balance your caregiving role with your Higher Education studies?

The Carers Achieving Resilience in Education (C.A.R.E.) Programme is designed to help student carers develop essential academic skills, build support networks, and plan for a successful future—all while recognising the valuable skills gained through caregiving. This programme is sponsored by the Gender Equality Initiative Fund, as part of the Athena SWAN action plan of the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Life Sciences.

The programme consists of four interactive workshops, covering:
? Building Support Networks and Communication
? Exploring Academic and Technological Tools
? Balancing Responsibilities and Self-Care
? Planning for the Future and Building Resilience

📅 Dates: Every Wednesday from 5th – 26th March, 12-2 p.m.
📍 Location: Whitla Medical Building, 2nd Floor, Seminar Room 10

📝 Register by Friday, 28th February via this form: https://forms.office.com/e/3vz7NHABB3 or scan the QR code in the poster attached.

This is a great opportunity to gain practical tools, connect with other student carers, and receive tailored support. Spaces are limited, so sign up today!

Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions and we look forward to seeing you there!
Best wishes,
