Posted: Mon Jan 20, 2025 10:09 am
Dear Colleagues,
My name is Dr Catherine Murphy and I am an ADEPT (Achieve, Develop, Explore, Programme for trainees) Fellow in the Centre for Medical Education (CME). Together with colleagues Dr Linda Ní Chianáin (CME), Ms Doris Corkin (School of Nursing and Midwifery, SONM), Dr Peter Mallett (CME), and Professor Gerry Gormley (CME), we are conducting a study in simulation-based education (SBE). Our research project is titled Is that it?! An explorative impact study on what happens after interprofessional simulation training.
We recognise the importance of interprofessional learning at an undergraduate level to prepare healthcare professional students for working in multidisciplinary teams. Therefore, in collaboration with colleagues from the Centre for Medical Education and the School of Nursing and Midwifery, we aim to explore the impact of Interprofessional based education. Attached is a Participant Information Leaflet (PIL) with further details on the study.
If you are interested in participating in an individual interview to share your experiences, views, and opinions, please complete the attached reply slip and return it via email to catherine.murphy@qub.ac.uk . Should you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me via email.
Best wishes,
Dr Catherine Murphy
