Student applications for this year’s TEDxQueensUniversityBelfast close on Tuesday, 30 September. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to take to the red dot and share their ideas with a global audience.
The theme this year is “Hope and History”, celebrating Queen’s University’s 180th Anniversary. We’re looking for compelling ideas, fresh perspectives, and inspiring voices from across the student community.

TEDxQueensUniversityBelfast returns on 3 December at Riddel Hall and we’re inviting student applications for the event! Fancy taking to the red dot and securing a space in the 2025 line-up?
Send us your compelling idea that deserves the spotlight. We are looking for new ideas that are worth sharing. Got a great piece of research worth sharing? New take on an old idea? Something fresh and exciting to share with a global audience? We want to hear from you!
This year’s theme, “Hope and History,” celebrates Queen’s University’s 180th Anniversary – an inspiring moment to share your perspective with a curious and engaged audience. If you’re interested in becoming a speaker, please complete the application form by Tuesday, 30 September at 5pm.
You must be available on Wednesday 3 December and take part in the preparation dates for the event – these will be shared with you if selected.
Let’s make this year’s TEDx event truly representative of the diverse voices across Queen’s.
