BSDS Medical Student Prize January 2027

Twice a year the BSDS sets a title and format on a topic related to dermatological surgery and offers a prize for the winning submissions.
For the January 2027 round, we invite the submission of posters on "How can dermatological surgery and Mohs surgery be made more visible and engaging for medical students?" For this project, we invite medical students to talk with their peers and local skin surgery team to find out what's missing from dermatology placements and show us on one poster how Mohs and dermatological surgery could be made more visible and engaging for medical students.
Attached is our promotional poster, application form and full terms and conditions of entry for this Student Prize round. The BSDS Medical Student Prize is open to any individual who has medical student status at the time of application, or who graduates in 2027.
Closing date for applications is 31st January 2027. The winning team will receive a prize of £300 to be shared out between the them. For further details on how to apply please click here.
