National Teaching Opportunity for Doctors and Dentists

Dear students,

You are invited to participate in our Mock Interview Teaching Days, which help Year 13/S6 students from schools across UK, as well as fundraising for the You Ok Doc? Charity.

We are looking for enthusiastic doctors and dentists who would enjoy spending a day teaching secondary school students who have been selected from schools across the country based on their desire to become future clinicians. This is an excellent teaching opportunity and we are looking for mock interviewers who will be able to lead a mock panel/MMI interview in person.

**Please note that teaching slots will be filled on a 'first-come first-served' basis**

All of the questions and mark schemes will be provided in advance. All that we require is for you to be willing to give up your time to help students gain some valuable practice for their real university interviews, and fundraise some money for You Ok Doc? in the process!

All of the volunteers will be awarded a national teaching certificate, student feedback and a reference for participating in the teaching day. There is also a national prize available for the best teacher and mentor so it would be a really good portfolio opportunity.

You Ok Doc? Charity have exclusively partnered with Mentorverse to organise these events. They provide support to the mental health and wellbeing of healthcare professionals, and these events will help to raise awareness and fundraise money for the charity. In addition to your national teaching certificate, You Ok Doc? will provide an additional certificate for your contribution to our programme.

The Mock Interview Day will take place in London, Scotland and Virtually and we would welcome you to participate in more than one session if you wish!

These events are usually quite popular to get involved with because they are so helpful not only from a portfolio perspective but are also a great chance to give back and inspire future clinicians.
