Abstract call for Posters in the European parliament now open!

“Posters in the European Parliament” connects undergraduates and policy makers through a live two-hour poster exhibition, providing up to 80 selected students from universities across Europe with the opportunity to present their undergraduate research to Members of the European Parliament, policy professionals and fellow students.

Students must have completed an independent undergraduate research project as part of their bachelor’s degree, engaging with current social, political, environmental, technological or scientific challenges.

 “Posters in European Parliament” will be opened by a member of Roberta Metsola’s (President of the European Parliament’s) office directly in the European Parliament in Brussels on November 10, 2026.

To be in with a chance of attending, undergraduate students who have completed a significant independent research project in their final year (2025-2026) are invited to submit the following three items for consideration:

1.   250 word abstract describing their research hypothesis, methods and results though Oxford abstracts
2.   50 word research impact statement also in Oxford abstracts
3.   a signed Letter of Recommendation from their undergraduate research supervisor (tick box template provided here) also in Oxford abstracts

Following a comprehensive international review process selected students will receive bespoke training in advance of the event with regards to poster preparation, tone and pitch.
