GOSH Summer School 2026: a national conference for aspiring paediatricians
“Pathways in Paediatrics: Small Steps, Big Impact”
16th-18th July 2026
A three-day national conference designed for medical students and resident doctors who are interested in a career in paediatrics.
The programme includes:
- Day 1 (Virtual): Introduction to paediatric specialties including Neonatology, Cardiology, Neurosurgery, Palliative Care, and more
- Day 2 (In Person): Careers talks, application guidance, specialty debate, networking lunch, poster competition, and interactive workshops
- Day 3 (In Person): Hands-on paediatric skills training at Great Ormond Street Hospital

The GOSH Summer School Abstract Competition returns for 2026. Delegates are invited to submit abstracts of up to 250 words, structured into aims, methods, results, and conclusions. High-scoring submissions will be selected for poster presentation on Day 2 of this national conference.
