Catalyse by Nucleate - Entrepreneurship Programme

Nucleate is a fairly well-known foundation in the syn bio and biotech sphere, and this is the first time the Catalyse programme has run in 3 years. So, if you are interested and have the time, consider taking part as this would not only give an insightful look into entrepreneurship, but is also an eye-catching CV experience to industry. 

**What is Catalyse?** 

Catalyse is a beginner-friendly programme introducing students and researchers to life sciences and agtech entrepreneurship. Participants learn the fundamentals through expert-led lectures and, optionally, form teams to develop startup ideas in guided workshops. No prior business experience or startup idea is required. 

**Programme details (April–May 2026):** 

- **Explore Track:** 6 expert-led evening lectures on biotech/agtech entrepreneurship
- **Build Track:** Team-based workshops to develop a pitch deck, with office hours and a final pitch day
- **Extras:** Local watch parties, UK-wide networking sessions, and opportunities to meet potential collaborators
- Open to undergraduates, PhDs, postdocs, and researchers across life sciences, agtech, engineering, and related disciplines
